We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologist to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary clinical team in the Bronx, NY. Job Responsibilities
• Conduct minimally invasive image-guided procedures using CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and other advanced imaging modalities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Manage pre-procedure evaluations and post-procedure care to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Utilize CT, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiology to accurately assess and treat patient conditions
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and CPT coding standards
• Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement programs
• Educate patients and families on procedures, risks, benefits, and recovery expectations
• Adhere strictly to sterile technique and safety protocols during all procedures
Qualifications
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Interventional Radiology
• Active New York State Medical License
• Proficiency in CT, nuclear medicine, diagnostic radiology, and interventional radiography
• Experience with Epic or similar EHR/EMR systems
• Strong knowledge of CPT coding and documentation standards
• Excellent clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
• Critical care experience (neurocritical or pediatric ICU) preferred
• Knowledge of airway management and ventilator support is advantageous
