This healthcare facility is a well-established hospital serving the Richmond community and surrounding areas. The radiology department is equipped with modern imaging technology to support comprehensive diagnostic and interventional services, providing essential healthcare to the local population.
Opportunity:
Interventional Radiologist - Radiology
Job Details:
• Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM EST schedule
• Must be able to perform interventional radiology procedures and read diagnostic exams between procedures
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) required
• Perform procedures including: Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Abscess Drain, Chest Tube, Percutaneous Drain, CT/US Guided Biopsies, Arthrogram, Lumbar Puncture
• Conduct fluoroscopy exams: Barium Enema, Barium Swallow, Modified Barium Swallow, Upper GI, etc.
• Workload breakdown: IR/Fluoro (10%), CT (35%), MR (5%), US (5%), XR (40%)
• Mammography experience beneficial but not required (would constitute about 5% of workload)
• Read a mix of inpatient routine, other routine, stat, and stroke imaging
• Productivity expectation: 55 RVUs per shift
• Experience with RPCE Tech Stack and Powerscribe 4.0 preferred
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
