Job Title: Board Certified/Eligible Interventional Radiologist (On-Site)
Location: Bronx NY, 10468
Duration : 1+ Years to Long Term
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Mon-Fri)
Job description:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures such as angiography, embolization, biopsies, ablations, dialysis access interventions, and more.
• Provide diagnostic imaging expertise in abdominal/GU, breast, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and neuroradiology subspecialties.
• Deliver approximately 82% direct patient care onsite.
• Provide 24/7 on-call emergency coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with prompt phone and onsite response.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to develop appropriate imaging and intervention plans.
• Conduct post-procedure follow-up evaluations and manage patient care.
• Adhere to patient safety, medication administration, and infection control protocols.
• Maintain all necessary licensure, board certifications, and credentialing requirements.
Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology (American Board of Radiology).
• Active, unrestricted medical license valid in any U.S. state or territory.
• Proficient in a broad range of IR procedures and diagnostic radiology subspecialties.
• Prior credentialing experience in government or large healthcare systems is a plus.
• 24/7 on-call coverage with 15-minute phone availability and 60-minute onsite response time.
