IR Faculty & Section Chief Position – Thriving Gulf Coast Health System
The Department of Radiology is seeking a Section Chief / Service Line Leader in Interventional Radiology, as well as Interventional Radiology faculty to join our expanding division. Be a part of shaping a growing academic health system.
The Division of Interventional Radiology provides services across multiple hospitals and a comprehensive cancer institute. Together, these facilities are licensed for more than 700 beds and include a Level I trauma center.
Qualifications

Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology

Board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology

Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Alabama
Responsibilities
-
Provide clinical coverage for the angiography/interventional radiology service

Teach and mentor medical students and residents in diagnostic radiology, angiography, and interventional radiology

Pursue academic interests, including research and scholarly activities
Our team performs the full spectrum of Interventional Radiology, including spinal augmentation, women’s health interventions, hepatobiliary disease management, trauma care, dialysis access maintenance, vascular disease treatment, and interventional oncology.
Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
