This facility is part of SSM Health's Southern Illinois network, providing comprehensive healthcare services to the region. The hospital features modern imaging equipment with established interventional radiology services and is connected with St. Mary's Hospital to serve the greater Mount Vernon area.
Opportunity:
Interventional Radiology - Physician
Job Details:
• Onsite IR and general reading for SSM Southern Illinois facilities including Good Samaritan and St. Mary's Hospitals
• Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-5pm
• Perform various interventional procedures including aspirations (31%), drainage (17%), surgical procedures (10%), and CT guidance (7%)
• Additional procedures include catheterizations (5%), injections (6%), breast IR (3%), biopsies (3%), insertions (2%), and other specialized interventions
• Productivity expectation of 45 RVUs per shift
• Work with RPCE Tech Stack & Powerscribe 4.0 systems
• Requires expertise in both interventional radiology procedures and general diagnostic reading
• Must be comfortable with a diverse range of IR procedures across multiple body systems
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
