Job description

Job description

We are seeking a working Director of Interventional Radiology for a fulltime position with the flexibility to work remotely, with two day a week physically being onsite for interventions. The imaging center is staffed with experienced licensed registered technologists 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Board-certified radiologists work around the clock to review your imaging exams.

All imaging technology is digital including:

  • Radiography
  • Fluoroscopy
  • 3D ultrasound
  • Digital and 3D mammography (tomosynthesis)
  • Stereotactic breast biopsy
  • 1.5T MRI
  • 64-slice computed axial tomography (CAT/CT scan) with 3D imaging
  • Full-body DXA (bone density) scanning
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Portable radiography/fluoroscopy used for operating suite and pain management
  • PET-CT offered

Image-Sharing Technology

Images are stored onsite and offsite using our picture archiving communication system (PACS). This secure system allows physicians anywhere in the world to view patients’ images. This capability can help decrease the number of repeat studies.

Mammography

Our facility is accredited in mammography by the American College of Radiology (ACR). We perform in-house stereotactic breast biopsy and MRI-guided breast biopsy that allows for greater accuracy, less scarring, and less recovery time than image-guided biopsy.

Same Day Results

Because you may be anxious about the results of your mammogram and breast ultrasound, our radiologist will review your images as soon as they are completed. This way, you can have the results before you leave.

Additional Services

Other procedures we provide include:

  • Angiograms
  • Venograms
  • Myelograms
  • Nuclear cardiac studies
