This is a prestigious academic medical center and Level 1 Trauma facility with a Level 1 Pediatric designation, providing comprehensive and highly specialized care to patients across the region. The facility offers a collaborative and well-supported environment for locum providers with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days.Opportunity:
Board Certified - Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine - Pediatric RadiologyJob Details:
- Locum Tenens need for a Pediatric Radiologist with variable patient encounters per shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with night procedure call included each week
- Weekend procedure call required (24-hour on-call coverage, 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM)
- Must be licensed in Pennsylvania only - IMLC not accepted
- Board certification required (Certified level minimum)
- No guaranteed hours; all overtime must be approved by department administration
- Callback is defined as patient-facing hours only
- Lunch (30 minutes) is not included in shift hours - providers must clock in and out for lunch
- Required fluoroscopy skills include: Barium Swallow (including post-operative EA with TEF), UGI, VCUG, RUG, and BE/water soluble enema (including newborn obstruction, post-operative ostomy, and mucous fistula studies)
- Required procedures include: Air reduction enema for intussusception, advancement of feeding tube from gastric position into the duodenum, and contrast injection of central line/port for malfunction
