Job description Pediatric Radiologist Bronx, New York Position Overview A nationally recognized teaching hospital in the Bronx is seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Radiologist to serve as Division Lead of Pediatric Imaging. This is a full-time, permanent academic leadership position for an experienced pediatric imaging physician with a strong record of clinical excellence, teaching, and scholarly activity. The hospital is widely recognized for clinical excellence, innovation in research, and training the next generation of healthcare leaders, delivering science-driven, patient-centered care. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Division & Technology Highlights The Department of Radiology is equipped with elite, state-of-the-art imaging technology, including:
  • 2 new MRI scanners
  • 4 CT scanners
  • 6 advanced ultrasound units
The division supports pediatric imaging across the Bronx, Westchester, and the Hudson Valley and continues to expand its clinical, educational, and research footprint. Leadership Role & Responsibilities
  • Attending role
  • Potential for a directorship position
  • Provide high-quality pediatric diagnostic imaging and image-guided interventions
  • Teach and mentor residents and fellows
  • Participate in and lead clinical research initiatives
  • Contribute to academic scholarship, publications, and program development
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical and academic teams
Candidate Qualifications
  • MD or equivalent
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Imaging
  • Board Certified in Radiology with pediatric subspecialty training
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State
  • Experience across the full spectrum of pediatric imaging
  • Strong academic background with demonstrated research and publication record preferred, not required
  • Eligible for appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary: $450,000–$550,000
