Position: Radiologist — Day Shifts (No Call / No Weekends)
Schedule
- Full-time, also open to every other week; 8.5–9 hour shifts (start between 7:00–9:00 AM CST; end between 5:00–6:00 PM CST)
- 1-hour unpaid lunch
- No call, no weekends
Clinical Scope & Duties
- Interpret diagnostic studies across MSK, Neuro, Body MRI, ER, general radiology, and PET as needed
- Support ER and general inpatient/outpatient workflow; IR team covers major procedures (optional backup for procedures if desired)
- PET or breast imaging experience is a strong plus
- New grads accepted; fellows and generalists encouraged to apply
Systems & Tools
- PACS: Philips
- Dictation: PowerScribe 360
- EMR: Cerner
Qualifications & Preferences
- MD or DO, radiology board certification/eligibility per employer requirements
- Fellowship in MSK, Neuro, or Body MRI preferred but not required
- Comfortable reading a mix of MSK, ER, general, and PET studies
Compensation & Logistics
- OT: 1.5× hourly rate after 40 hours/week
- Credentialing timeframe: ~6–8 weeks (may be faster)

- IR radiologists handle major procedures; procedural backup by this hire is optional.
- Ideal for candidates seeking predictable daytime schedule with strong work–life balance.
Job Responsibilities
Read and report exams accurately and timely using Philips PACS and PowerScribe 360; document in Cerner.
Triage and prioritize emergent ER studies to meet turnaround expectations and communicate critical results to clinical teams.
Provide consultative support to referring clinicians and collaborate with IR, ER, and inpatient teams.
Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and departmental conferences.
Maintain productivity and reporting standards; complete assigned shifts and schedule commitments.
Optional: provide procedural backup support when requested (not mandatory).
Qualifications
State medical license (or ability to obtain) as required by employer.
Fellowship training in MSK, Neuro, or Body MRI preferred (all fellowships and generalists encouraged).
PET/breast imaging experience strongly desirable.
Comfortable reading MSK, ER, general radiology, and MRI studies; new grads accepted.
Proficiency with Philips PACS, PowerScribe 360, and Cerner (or ability to learn quickly).
Able to meet credentialing requirements within ~6–8 weeks.
Strong communication, teamwork, and timely reporting skills.
