We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Breast Radiologist to provide locum coverage for a well-established health system in South Carolina. This assignment requires an experienced physician with MQSA qualifications, Epic proficiency, and the ability to provide breast imaging services across multiple locations within the network. Fellowship training in Breast Imaging is required.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform and interpret breast ultrasound and other breast imaging modalities as required.
• Perform breast imaging procedures in accordance with MQSA standards.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and workflow.
• Read studies across multiple network locations through cross-credentialing.
• Maintain accurate and timely reporting while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
• Fellowship Training in Breast Imaging (Required).
• Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Radiology.
• Active South Carolina Medical License or active FCVS with the ability to obtain SC licensure.
• MQSA-qualified with 24 months of breast imaging case logs.
• Epic proficiency is required.
• Submission Checklist and Modality Checklist required at the time of presentation.
Working Hours
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
o Monday–Tuesday: Orangeburg, SC
o Wednesday: Hampton, SC
o Thursday–Friday: Orangeburg, SC
• No Call Required
• Travel between supporting locations as needed.
