A growing multidisciplinary physician group is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to join its established breast imaging program in Suffolk County, New York.
This opportunity offers the flexibility many physicians are looking for—whether you prefer a traditional Monday through Friday schedule, four 10-hour shifts, or a part-time arrangement. What You'll Do
- Interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms with accuracy and efficiency.
- Read and report breast MRI examinations.
- Perform image-guided breast biopsy procedures.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and a multidisciplinary care team to provide coordinated patient care.
- Communicate imaging findings and recommendations clearly and effectively.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation while adhering to quality and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to a patient-centered environment focused on clinical excellence and compassionate care.
Schedule & Highlights
- Flexible full-time or part-time opportunities
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Option for four 10-hour shifts or traditional 5-day schedule
- Hybrid work model with remote reading available
- Approximately 2-3 on-site days per week for breast biopsy procedures
- No evenings, no weekend call, and no holiday call responsibilities

Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Eligible for or currently licensed to practice medicine in New York.
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging or equivalent clinical experience.
- Experience interpreting mammography and breast MRI examinations.
- Comfortable performing image-guided breast biopsy procedures.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
