Full time
Overview
* A 249 bed acute care community hospital about 10 minutes east of Hartford, part of a large integrated health system, is seeking a BE/BC intensivist to join its growing Critical Care team
* Care for critically ill medical and surgical patients in a 22 bed closed ICU
* 12 hour shifts with a balanced schedule
* Work alongside experienced advanced practice providers, hospitalists, specialists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and dedicated critical care nurses in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
* Strong support from advanced practice providers, with CME allowance and dedicated professional development time
* The hospital offers comprehensive medical and surgical services, advanced diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine, cardiovascular care, cancer services and orthopedic surgery
Qualifications
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
* Eligible for an unrestricted Connecticut medical license
* New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply
Compensation & Benefits
* Salary: about $400,000 to $618,000 (posted as $192.31 to $297.07 per hour, paid on a salary basis), plus productivity and quality incentives
