Clinical Physician Executive - Pulm/CC opening in Winston-Salem, NC

Seeking BC Critical Care and/or Pulmonary Medicine Physician
Overview:
* Physician executive opportunity providing strategic, clinical and operational leadership for Critical Care and inpatient/outpatient Pulmonary services across a multi-hospital regional network
* Position combines clinical practice with physician leadership responsibilities
* Lead development and execution of regional strategy, operational priorities and program growth initiatives
* Oversee quality, patient safety, patient experience and clinical outcome improvement efforts
* Develop and implement evidence-based best practices and standardized care models
* Collaborate with physicians, nursing, pharmacy and administrative leadership to optimize care delivery and transitions
* Lead operational excellence, resource utilization, throughput, capacity management and performance improvement initiatives
* Support physician recruitment, retention, engagement and professional development
* Lead regional provider meetings and promote collaboration across Critical Care and Pulmonary teams
* Seeking MD/DO with fellowship training in Pulmonary/Critical Care or Internal Medicine/Critical Care and board certification in Critical Care and/or Pulmonary Medicine
* Requires 5+ years of ICU Medical Director experience with multidisciplinary team leadership, quality/safety initiatives, committee leadership, throughput/capacity management and Sepsis program involvement
* Preferred experience includes ECMO, Cardiac Critical Care, Advanced Bronchoscopy, Tele-ICU, clinical research and outpatient Pulmonary Medicine
* MBA, MHA or MPH preferred but not required

* Closed ICU model with Intensivists and multidisciplinary teams
* Integrated Critical Care and Pulmonary services spanning both community and tertiary-care settings
