Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician Opportunity
* Located in Zanesville, OH - Columbus 55m
* Full-time, permanent position
Position Overview
* Full-time Pulmonary/Critical Care opportunity
* Join an established group of 10 Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians
* Combination of inpatient Pulmonary, ICU, and outpatient Pulmonary clinic responsibilities
* Flexible schedule based on individual preference for inpatient versus outpatient practice
* Approximately 15–16 shifts per month
* 12-hour inpatient shifts and 8–10-hour clinic shifts
* Day and night shifts available
* Night coverage required as part of the schedule
* Supportive group with mentorship available for new graduates
Qualifications
* Pulmonary/Critical Care physician
* Specific board certification, fellowship, and medical licensure requirements not specified
* New graduates welcome
Practice Highlights
* 10 collegial, university-trained Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians
* 24-bed open ICU with combined medical and surgical patients
* Average ICU census of 12–15 patients
* Approximately 3 admissions and 3 discharges per day
* Standard Critical Care procedures include intubations, central lines, chest tubes, and bronchoscopies
* Approximately 2 days per week of outpatient Pulmonary clinic coverage in Coshocton
* Critical Care and procedural responsibilities at the primary hospital in Zanesville
