Job description
We are seeking a Pulmonologist for a permanent position in Madison, West Virginia. This is a permanent placement at a rural hospital combining an outpatient pulmonology clinic with inpatient pulmonary consultations. Please see below for more information.
Job Responsibilities
Dedicate approximately 90% of practice time to direct patient contact
Dedicate approximately 5% of practice time to inpatient rounding
Dedicate approximately 3% of practice time to phone consultations
Dedicate approximately 2% of practice time to procedures
Perform bronchoscopy, EBUS, and thoracentesis
Provide ICU and ventilator management
Interpret pulmonary function tests utilizing the onsite PFT lab
Provide sleep medicine services utilizing the onsite sleep lab
Perform diagnostic ultrasound
Evaluate and treat patients across all age groups
Utilize onsite laboratory and radiology services in support of patient care
Qualifications
Sub-specialty experience in sleep medicine required
Active West Virginia medical license
Working Hours
No after-hours call required
