Located in Waterloo, IA – Cedar Falls 10m; Cedar Rapids 55m; Des Moines 120m
Full-time; Permanent; Employed
Seeking BC/BE in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine

Overview:
* Join an established Pulmonary Critical Care team consisting of 2 physicians and 2 APPs
* Monday-Friday schedule with shared call coverage designed to promote work-life balance
* Balanced mix of outpatient pulmonary medicine, inpatient consults, and critical care responsibilities
* Average outpatient volume of 16-20 patients per day
* Average of 5 inpatient consults daily during clinic hours
* Typical ICU census of 3-4 patients daily
* Well-supported pulmonary clinic located on the hospital campus
* Dedicated staff and strong subspecialty support throughout the health system
* Twelve-bed ICU with intensivist coverage and onsite cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services
* Outpatient clinic features six consultation rooms and a dedicated procedure room
* Full spectrum of pulmonary disease management including COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, ILD, lung nodules, and lung cancer
* Onsite ultrasound, pulmonary function testing, respiratory therapy, and laboratory services
* Exposure to advanced procedures including EBUS bronchoscopy, robotic bronchoscopy, PleurX catheter placement, thoracentesis, central lines, arterial lines, dialysis catheters, and chest tube management
* Fully integrated Epic EMR across inpatient and outpatient settings
