Job description
Overview
Pulmonology does not have to mean unpredictable hospital demands and a schedule you cannot control.
This opportunity is with a physician-led, multi-specialty group in New Jersey where Pulmonology is built around outpatient care, strong internal referrals, and a system that is designed to run efficiently. The structure allows physicians to stay focused on patient care while the operational side is handled by a dedicated support team.
You will be stepping into an established clinic with consistent volume and a collaborative environment that supports long-term sustainability.
What the role looks like
Primarily outpatient pulmonary clinic with an established and growing patient panel
Consistent internal referrals from primary care, cardiology, and other specialties within the group
Mix of general pulmonary cases with the ability to incorporate procedures based on your comfort level
Hospital involvement is flexible and can be tailored depending on your preference
Predictable weekly schedule designed to support consistency
How the clinic operates
This is an integrated, multi-specialty setting where patients are referred internally, keeping your schedule full without needing to build volume from scratch.
The clinic is supported by on-site services and aligned specialties, which allows for efficient patient management and continuity of care.
Administrative responsibilities such as scheduling, prior authorizations, and coordination are handled by centralized teams, so physicians are not managing those tasks on their own.
The overall flow is designed to reduce friction throughout the day and allow for a more focused clinical experience.
