Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Start Date: March 21, 2026
Positions Needed: 2
Coverage Dates
- Current need: March 21 – March 31
Schedule
- 24-hour call coverage
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (Mon–Sun)
Practice Details
- Average 4–6 patients per shift
• Average daily census: 4–6
• 18 ICU beds staffed by in-house intensivists
• Provider works solo for pulmonology coverage
Coverage Model
- Intensivists handle admissions and urgent ICU calls
• Limited overnight call-backs
• Provider rounds on patients assigned to their list
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Internal Medicine with Pulmonology fellowship required
• Active California medical license required
