Pulmonologist in Chicago Suburbs, IL

We are a large physician-owned group expanding in the Chicago Suburbs, IL area. As part of our Respiratory Program, we are seeking a pulmonologist to join our team consulting, overseeing NPs providing consults, with profit-sharing opportunities. We offer generous compensation, flexible scheduling, and no on-call requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide biweekly pulmonary consults to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning

· Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Preferred Qualifications:

· Active and unrestricted Illinois license

· Board Eligible/Certified in Pulmonology

· Active DEA license

· Minimum 1 year of Pulmonology experience

· Experience working with respiratory patients in an acute or post-acute setting. 

· Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations

· Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills

Scheduling Options:

· Part-Time 10- 20 hours per week

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

· May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.

· Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.

· Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
