Sleep Pulmonologist Opportunity in Indiana
seeking a Board-Certified Pulmonologist with Board Certification in Sleep Medicine to join a growing, patient-focused pulmonary and sleep medicine program in Indiana. The physician will provide comprehensive pulmonary care with a strong emphasis on the diagnosis and management of sleep disorders, including oversight and interpretation of sleep studies.
This position offers an excellent balance of outpatient pulmonary care, critical care and sleep medicine, supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team and accredited sleep laboratory services.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient pulmonary care, including evaluation and management of chronic and acute respiratory conditions
- Diagnose and manage sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea, insomnia, hypersomnia, restless leg syndrome, and circadian rhythm disorders
- Interpret in-lab polysomnography and home sleep testing
- Manage PAP therapy, oxygen therapy, and other sleep-related treatments
- Collaborate with respiratory therapists, sleep technologists, advanced practice providers, and referring physicians
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to pulmonary and sleep medicine
- Provide consultation as requested for the inpatient population.
Administrative & Program Responsibilities (as applicable)
- Support accreditation and quality standards for sleep lab services
- Contribute to protocol development and clinical pathway optimization
- Optional involvement in leadership of sleep medicine services
Required
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine
- Board Certified in Sleep Medicine
- Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Indiana medical license
- DEA license eligible in Indiana
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration
Preferred
- Experience working with AASM-accredited sleep labs
- Interest in program development or clinical leadership
- Experience with both in-lab and home sleep testing
- Experience in interventional pulmonology
Schedule & Call
- Primarily outpatient schedule
- Pulmonary and sleep medicine clinic mix (customizable based on interest)
- Minimal inpatient or call responsibilities
