Locum Pulmonary Critical Care Physician | Loveland, CO | Jan–Apr 2027 | Flexible Coverage | Level I–III Trauma

Inpatient Pulmonary & Critical Care coverage across three Colorado hospitals. Multiple shift options with rotating locations.

🏥 Inpatient | Level I, II & III Trauma
🕐 12-hour shifts | 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM
📅 Up to 7 consecutive days at a time
📞 Night call required at select locations

Each physician will cover one location per 12-hour shift, with coverage rotating between locations.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Inpatient Pulmonary & Critical Care
• ICU management and rounding
• Ventilation management, including invasive and non-invasive ventilation
• Bronchoscopy and BAL
• Chest tube placement
• Central and arterial lines
• Thoracentesis
• Critical care management for sepsis, respiratory/cardiac failure, renal failure and other high-acuity conditions
• Pre- and post-operative critical care
• Other required critical care procedures

Requirements:

✅ Board Certified in Pulmonology & Critical Care
✅ Active Colorado license or IMLC with LOQ in hand
✅ Recent Level I Trauma experience within the last 24 months
✅ Must be able to perform all required procedures
✅ Clean malpractice and background
✅ NPDB Self-Query from within the last 30 days
✅ ACLS, BLS & DEA required for credentialing
✅ Must provide availability for January–April 2027
✅ Must specify the number of shifts available per month
✅ Epic experience and completion of required Epic training
✅ Local/drive-in candidates highly preferred
