ICU Shift: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
Hospital Pulmonary/Critical Care Coverage: 7:30 AM-5:00 PM
Intermittent Coverage

Patient Population / Volume
Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
No Pediatric or Neonatal Care
100% Inpatient
ICU Volume: Approximately 10-15 Patients Per Day
Hospital Pulmonary/Critical Care Volume: Approximately 10-15 Patients Per Day
Hospital Pulmonology Daily Census: Approximately 40 Patients
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide Inpatient Pulmonary and Critical Care Coverage
Evaluate and Manage Intensive Care Patients
Provide General Inpatient Pulmonology Consultations
Manage Adult and Geriatric Pulmonary/Critical Care Patients
Clinical Environment / Support
20 ICU Beds
12 CCU Beds
6 CVICU Beds
38 Total Critical Care Beds
Up to 3 Physicians and 3 APCs Available on Weekdays to Cover the Pulmonary/Critical Care Service
No Teaching or Leadership Responsibilities
Requirements
Board Certified in Critical Care - Required
Pulmonary Board Certification - Preferred
Critical Care/Pulmonology Fellowship - Required
Active South Carolina Medical License - Required
Active ACLS - Required
Active DEA - Required
Credentialing
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 120 Days / 4 Months
Temporary Privileges May Be Available With a Clean Background
