Tallahassee Pulmonary Clinic, one of the largest and most successful single specialty pulmonary groups in the south-east, seeks a full-time BE/BC Pulmonologist to join their expanding practice in Panama City Beach (PCB). The clinic in PCB opened in 2025 as part of the new Tallahassee Memorial/ FSU Health expansion. This clinic currently has 1 physician, Dr. David Phillips.
Currently, the practice is outpatient only, practicing all areas of Pulmonary Medicine. The group is hoping to expand to a 2nd physician by the fall of 2027, and a 3rd by the fall of 2028 as the new 80-bed hospital (12 ICU Beds) is slated to open in October 2028.

The Panama City Beach campus is planned to be located on an 87-acre parcel near the intersection of State Highway 79 and Phillip Griffitts Sr. Parkway, just minutes from the Latitude Margaritaville Watersound community, the 55-and-better community which is planned for 3,500 homes. The Hospital is slated to open in the Fall of 2028 and the property is already home to a Medical Office Building that includes; Pulmonary, Cardiology, Primary Care, Urgent Care, Obstectrics and Gynecology, Orthopedics and an Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Partnership with Florida State University
Building upon TMH’s existing education and research partnership with Florida State University (FSU), the partners recently announced a plan to create an integrated Academic Medical Center, FSU Health. This includes building a joing Academic Research building and adding comprehensive programs, research, residencies and fellowships.
