Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm
Weekly Compensation: $10,400 weekly
Job Description:
Amergis is seeking Board Certified Psychiatrists for long-term inpatient opportunities across Upstate New York. Enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule with no call, low daily patient volume (4-5 patients), and compensation up to $270/hour. Providers will work alongside multidisciplinary behavioral health teams serving adult and/or child & adolescent populations while delivering high-quality psychiatric care to underserved communities.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans and medication regimens.
• Provide ongoing psychiatric care and follow-up services.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and care coordination.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing, social work, psychology, and medical staff.
Qualifications
• Board Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist.
• Active New York medical license.
• Active DEA registration and current BLS certification.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship.
