Aya Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (or BC General Psychiatrist with completed CAP fellowship) for a part-time locum tenens opportunity at UCSF Health Stanyan Hospital in San Francisco, CA, starting 12/14/2026. California-resident providers only.
• Acute care hospital with Epic charting
• Coverage of 2 weekends per month plus the following Monday and Tuesday
• Adolescent inpatient population with 6-12 patients per day
• Multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Public transportation (BART) with regular shuttles to each campus

Job Responsibilities
• Weekends: approximately 6 hours of rounding starting at 8am, then on call until 8am the next day
• Monday/Tuesday: on site 8a-5p, then night call until 8a (place admission orders for arriving admissions)
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and families/guardians
• Manage psychiatric medications and challenging behaviors in adolescent patients
Qualifications
• Active California license; California-resident providers only
• CA DEA with Schedule 2/2n required; BLS (AHA) required
• Strong foundation in psychopharmacology and psychotherapies
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing adolescent patients
