Clinical Psychology Opening in TN Located in Louisville, TN Position Overview

  • Full-time Clinical Psychologist opportunity
  • Join an established behavioral health program located approximately 6 miles from Knoxville
  • Work primarily with patients ages 10–17 with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Provide behavioral assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions
  • Conduct behavioral evaluations, data analysis, and care coordination
  • Provide family education, training, and support
  • Participate in staff supervision, education, and patient advocacy
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive behavioral healthcare
Practice Highlights Work within a 109-bed behavioral health hospital serving children, adolescents, and adults Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, BCBA therapists, social workers, and other specialists Established inpatient behavioral health program with approximately 3,500 annual admissions Inpatient team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and case managers Access to an extensive outpatient behavioral health network serving approximately 10,000 patients annually Four outpatient clinic locations offering individual, family, group, and intensive outpatient services Supportive, team-based environment focused on comprehensive patient care Qualifications Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in Tennessee Experience or interest in working with children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities Strong behavioral assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Strong communication, clinical, and interpersonal skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package Full-time employed position Additional benefits details to be discussed No state income tax on wages in Tennessee About Louisville, TN Located approximately 6 miles from Knoxville in East Tennessee Convenient access to Knoxville's healthcare, shopping, dining, and entertainment Close to the Tennessee River and Great Smoky Mountains Abundant outdoor recreation, including hiking, boating, and fishing Access to excellent public and private school options in the greater Knoxville area Affordable cost of living compared to many major metropolitan areas Family-friendly communities with a blend of suburban convenience and natural beauty
