Inpatient psychiatry position, 4- or 5-day schedule. Monday-to-Friday. Caseload of 24 patients.

Job Responsibilities
• Medication Management: Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications while tracking therapeutic efficacy and side effects.
• Treatment Planning: Lead and participate in multidisciplinary treatment team (MTT) meetings with nurses, social workers, psychologists, and occupational therapists to design individualized recovery plans.
• Crisis & Risk Management: Evaluate and manage acute behavioral crises, suicide risk, and safety interventions in accordance with state laws and facility policies.
• Legal & Administrative Duties: Handle civil commitment hearings, competency evaluations, involuntary treatment reviews, and accurate electronic health record (EHR) documentation.
• Discharge Planning: Coordinate safe community transitions, outpatient follow-ups, and residential placements with case managers.
