Psychiatry Opportunity - Tyler, TX Dallas 90m Position Details

  • Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join the practice.
  • Tyler, TX
  • Faculty position with the regional academic medical school
  • Monday on a subacute residential psychiatric unit; Tuesday to Friday on the inpatient consult-liaison service
  • Teach psychiatry residents and medical students; work alongside two residents
  • Inpatient consults in the ED and on medical floors
  • Diverse acute population including substance use and psychotic disorders
  • Consult-liaison fellowship preferred, not required
Medical Group Details Medical Group is comprised of 10 hospitals, more than 90 physician clinics, over 300 employed providers, 13 regional rehabilitation facilities, two freestanding emergency centers, regional home health services covering 41 counties, an EMS fleet of more than 45 ambulances and four helicopters, and a comprehensive seven-trauma center care network, including a Level 1 trauma center.
