Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency Board certified, or board eligible if within 5 years of residency Experience or training in adult inpatient and evaluation services and multidisciplinary teamwork Connecticut medical license, DEA, and Connecticut controlled substance registration Visa sponsorship (J-1 or H-1B) not available Position Details Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Inpatient Psychiatrist to join the practice. 57-bed behavioral health hospital focused on trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care Treats over 650 children and adolescents and 1,300 adults each year for mental illness or substance use Adult inpatient setting Strong multidisciplinary approach with a collegial, family-like feel Provide direct inpatient psychiatric care and evaluation services for adults Additional Information: New England's largest behavioral health system It is a nationally recognized and respected provider of behavioral health services in CT.
