Locums Psychiatry coverage in Florida with a predictable Monday to Friday clinic schedule and a mix of inpatient rounding plus intensive outpatient program assessments and follow ups.
Highlights
- Monday to Friday daytime schedule
- No evening call, daytime call limited to admission orders Monday to Friday
- Blended inpatient and outpatient psychiatry coverage in one role
- Established onsite support, APPs, nursing, and social workers
Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient psychiatry coverage due to staffing shortage
- Inpatient rounding on psychiatry patients plus intensive outpatient program assessments and follow ups
- Daily census runs about 27 to 30 patients across the service
- Support includes 2 APPs, nursing, social workers, and additional staff onsite
Schedule
- Monday to Friday coverage
- Scheduled hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm
- No evening call, daytime call for admission orders as needed Monday to Friday
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Florida medical license required, site will not wait for a license
