Part-Time Psychiatrist – Residential Detox & Addiction Treatment
Location: Monroeville, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 1–2 weekdays per week | Daytime hours

Practice Setting: Residential Detoxification & Addiction Treatment
NorTek Medical Staffing is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist for a part-time opportunity at an established residential detoxification and substance use treatment facility in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
This opportunity offers a predictable schedule of one or two weekdays per week, making it an excellent fit for psychiatrists seeking flexible supplemental income while providing meaningful care to adults recovering from substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and substance use evaluations.
Diagnose and treat co-occurring psychiatric disorders.
Provide medication management and monitor treatment response.
Support detoxification and withdrawal management plans.
Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and discharge decisions.
Collaborate with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, therapists, and addiction counselors.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Active DEA registration.
Ability to meet credentialing and background screening requirements.
Experience in addiction treatment, residential detoxification, or co-occurring disorders preferred.
Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is a plus.
Compensation & Schedule
Competitive compensation based on a full-time equivalent salary and adjusted for the part-time schedule, experience, and qualifications.
One or two weekdays per week.
Daytime hours with flexible weekday scheduling.
