Inpatient Psychiatrist – Adult Behavioral Health | Naples, FL
An established inpatient behavioral health facility in Naples, Florida, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join its adult inpatient team. This full-time employed opportunity is focused exclusively on clinical care, with no Medical Director or administrative responsibilities.
The physician will work alongside experienced nurse practitioners and a collaborative multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality psychiatric care in a supportive, structured inpatient environment.

Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments.
Manage the treatment of approximately 10–12 adult inpatients daily.
Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications as clinically indicated.
Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
Evaluate patient safety, clinical stability, and readiness for discharge.
Collaborate with nurse practitioners, nursing staff, therapists, and case management.
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
Participate in a shared weekend coverage schedule of two weekends per month.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Active, unrestricted DEA registration.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills.
Inpatient psychiatry experience and experience treating adult psychiatric patients preferred.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, full-time.
Two weekends of inpatient coverage per month.
On-site, adult inpatient behavioral health setting.
