An established private psychiatry practice in Manhattan, NY is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join its growing outpatient team. Qualifications

MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

New York medical license or eligibility

Strong general psychiatry and communication skills

Outpatient psychiatry experience preferred

Interventional psychiatry experience or interest is a plus
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and other psychiatric conditions.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications, including management of complex or treatment-resistant conditions.
- Conduct initial psychiatric consultations and ongoing medication management appointments.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and ongoing care.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Evaluate patients for advanced psychiatric treatment options, including TMS and ketamine-based therapies, when appropriate.
- Participate in interventional psychiatry services based on experience, training, and clinical interests.
- Provide both in-person and telehealth psychiatric services within a flexible hybrid practice model.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and treatment records.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to support optimal clinical outcomes.
Qualifications
New York medical license or eligibility
Strong general psychiatry and communication skills
Outpatient psychiatry experience preferred
Interventional psychiatry experience or interest is a plus

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active New York medical license or eligibility to obtain
- Strong clinical skills in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management
- Experience treating mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and other psychiatric conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in an outpatient private practice setting
- Comfortable providing both in-person and telehealth services
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care
- Interest or experience in interventional psychiatry, including TMS and ketamine therapy, preferred
