Job Title: Psychiatrist
Location: Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234
Duration: Long Term
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, including medication management.
• Order diagnostic tests and make appropriate referrals or consultations when needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric services as required.
• Provide patient education, counseling, preventive care, and follow-up treatment.
• Consult with physicians, non-physician providers, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
• Provide clinical guidance, education, and training to healthcare staff.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, committees, quality assurance, performance improvement, risk management, and peer review activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient care, clinical processes, and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with applicable professional and regulatory standards.
• Board certification or eligibility through an ABMS- or AOA-recognized board, as applicable.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted medical license.
• BLS/CPR cert

Minimum Qualifications
• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.• Board certification or eligibility through an ABMS- or AOA-recognized board, as applicable.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted medical license.
