Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a-4:30p
Number of candidates needed: 1
What is driving the need: vacancy
Cases: General Adult Psychiatry, SMI, Community mental health, Co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders

Patient volume: 6 - 7 patients per day
Patient age range: Adult men and women


Certifications required: BC Psychiatrist (ABPN), CT License

Job Responsibilities

An established practice is looking for a locums Psychiatrist to add to the practice. Schedule is Monday - Friday 8a-4:30pm, seeing adult patients in an outpatient setting. Cases include, general adult psychiatry, Serious Mental Illness (SMI), Community mental health, co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders, some forensic/court=mandated patient, majority of patients are non -forensic community behavioral health patients. Support staff includes multiple APRNs, additional Psychiatrists. EMR is WITS system and paper charts

Qualifications

Certifications required: BC Psychiatrist (ABPN) and CT Licensure

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
