A behavioral health facility in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to provide direct clinical care in an established inpatient behavioral health setting.
The facility currently has approximately 70 patients, with capacity for approximately 80, along with a small Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) onsite.
This is a clinical psychiatry position—not a Medical Director role. The position is well suited for a psychiatrist who enjoys direct patient care, treatment planning, medication management, and collaboration with an experienced multidisciplinary behavioral health team.

Job Responsibilities
Provide ongoing psychiatric treatment and medication management
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate
Participate in admissions, discharges, treatment planning, and clinical reviews
Provide consistent psychiatric coverage for assigned patients
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, case management, and other clinical providers
Support inpatient and PHP services as assigned
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Follow clinical, safety, quality, and compliance standards
Participate in treatment reviews and quality-improvement activities
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Ohio medical license preferred, or ability and willingness to obtain
Previous inpatient psychiatry or behavioral health experience preferred
Comfortable practicing in a higher-census behavioral health environment
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, collaborative, and team-oriented
Experience with PHP, detox, residential behavioral health, dual diagnosis, or substance use populations is a plus.
