An established behavioral health facility in Canton, Ohio is seeking a Psychiatrist to join its clinical team. This is a clinical psychiatry position with no Medical Director responsibilities, allowing the physician to focus on direct patient care, treatment planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
The facility currently serves approximately 70 patients, with capacity for approximately 80, and also has a small PHP program onsite.

Job Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments
Provide medication management and patient stabilization
Develop and participate in individualized treatment plans
Participate in admissions, discharges, and clinical reviews
Provide psychiatric coverage for assigned patients
Support inpatient and PHP services as needed
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, case management, and facility leadership
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Participate in quality and patient-safety initiatives
Qualifications
MD or DO with completed Psychiatry training
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Active Ohio medical license or ability to obtain one
Prior inpatient behavioral health experience preferred
Experience with PHP, detox, residential, dual-diagnosis, or substance use populations is a plus
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary treatment team
