| Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate, experienced psychiatrist to join our thoughtfully designed outpatient practice. The position is ideal for psychiatrists who are looking to slow the pace, reduce administrative burden, and practice high-quality, relationship centered psychiatry in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our practice was built around the belief that whole body care is essential for physical and emotional wellbeing. We practice both integrative and traditional medicine and feel excellent psychiatric care comes from time, presence, and professional fulfillment, not volume driven medicine. |
Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for new and established patients.
Provide ongoing outpatient psychiatric care using patient-centered, evidence-based approaches.
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including medication management when appropriate.
Provide 90-minute new patient consultations and 30-minute follow-up visits.
Incorporate both traditional and integrative approaches to psychiatric care as clinically appropriate.
Monitor patient progress, treatment response, and medication effectiveness.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EMR.
Utilize available AI scribe and dictation tools to support efficient documentation.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to coordinate patient care.
Exercise independent clinical judgment while working within a supportive, collaborative practice.
Participate in available administrative time and practice-related activities.
Provide mentorship to younger clinicians if interested.
Support continuity of care and long-term therapeutic relationships with patients.

ABPN board certified psychiatrist
Active New Jersey medical license
Working Hours
Flexible part-time, with opportunity to transition to full-time
No overnight call
No weekend responsibilities
24-hour workweek salary basis
Up to 1.5 hours of administrative time per day
