Location: Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio 45433-5529
Pay range: $262,000.00 – $268,000.00 per year
Shift: Standard Shift
Duration: Full time Position
Start Date: TBD, upon completion of credentialing

The physician will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients within the scope of their training, experience, and clinical privileges. The role also includes consultation, patient education, emergency and crisis intervention, collaboration with other healthcare professionals, and participation in quality improvement activities.
• Examine, evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients.
• Develop and prescribe appropriate treatment plans and medications.
• Provide preventive and health-maintenance care through patient education and counseling.
• Order appropriate diagnostic tests and request consultations or referrals when clinically indicated.
• Provide clinical guidance, direction, and education to other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
• Participate in educational lectures, in-service training, and professional development activities.
• Provide follow-up care to evaluate treatment response and patient compliance.
• Provide telephone and/or in-person consultation to physicians, non-physician providers, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient-care matters.
• Participate in professional meetings, committees, conferences, and other activities related to clinical responsibilities.
• Evaluate the quality of patient care and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide consultation on difficult or complex cases and recommend appropriate corrective actions when necessary.
• Participate in Quality Assurance (QA), performance improvement, risk management, and peer review activities.
• Recommend improvements to clinical processes, work methods, and organizational practices.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical documentation in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable healthcare, privacy, and safety standards.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification.
• Drug Enforcement Administration certification.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• Current board certification or eligibility through a board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.

Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric and physician services in a hospital-based healthcare environment.The physician will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients within the scope of their training, experience, and clinical privileges. Minimum Qualifications
• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification.
• Drug Enforcement Administration certification.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• Current board certification or eligibility through a board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
