TBI Physician – C&P Disability Exams
Lubbock, Texas
Frontera is seeking a board-certified Physician to conduct Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability exams for Veterans in the Lubbock, TX area. This role focuses on evaluating possible TBI and related residual symptoms, with no treatment, prescribing, or ongoing patient care.
Position Details

Compensation: Up to $1,600 per day

Location: Candidates must be within 50 miles of Lubbock

Arrangement: 1099 Independent Contractor
Responsibilities

Review Veterans’ medical records, injury histories, and claim information.

Conduct focused interviews and examinations related to TBI.

Assess cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and physical symptoms and their functional impact.

Document findings using structured Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).

Provide clear clinical narratives and medical opinions when required.

Complete accurate documentation within required timelines.
Qualifications

MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Texas medical license.

Board certification in Neurology, Neurosurgery, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), or Psychiatry is required.

Strong clinical assessment, medical record review, and documentation skills.

Comfortable evaluating complex histories and distinguishing symptoms that may overlap with other conditions.

Prior C&P exam experience is helpful but not required; training is provided.
