Job description
• Provide psychiatric care to adult inpatient patients in a mental health setting.
• Manage approximately 20 patients and provide comprehensive psychiatric treatment.
• Support admissions, treatment planning, medication management, and clinical reviews.
• Manage approximately 20 patients and provide comprehensive psychiatric treatment.
• Support admissions, treatment planning, medication management, and clinical reviews.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage and prescribe psychotropic medications.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews.
• Admit patients from hospitals, ERs, and CPEPs.
• Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies.
• Complete required clinical and medical documentation.
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed.
Qualifications
• Active New York Medical License.
• Must successfully complete credentialing and privileging requirements.
• Willingness to cover inpatient units when participating in on-call coverage.
Working Hours
• 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• 40 hours per week.
• 8-hour shifts.
• Additional physician on-call hours may be available.
