The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from Start Date to end date

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult psychiatric patients
Setting: Outpatient Mental Health Clinic at Samaritan Hospital
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care, assess and manage psychiatric conditions, collaborate with counselors, therapists, case managers, and nurse practitioners, and participate in professional development
Required Procedures: Outpatient psychiatric evaluation and management
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Interdisciplinary team including counselors, therapists, case managers, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: 1:6 weekend call rotation and 1:7 weeknight call rotation
Submission Requirements:
- Truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- New York Medical License or willing to obtain
- DEA license, required prior to start
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days, required at presentation
