Med Ninjas is seeking an Inpatient Psychiatrist for long term locum tenens coverage at a inpatient facility located in Troy, NY
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from Start Date to end date

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult psychiatric patients
Setting: 30-bed inpatient adult mental health unit at Samaritan Hospital
Responsibilities: Provide inpatient psychiatric care across Mental Health, MICA, and Gero-Psychiatry units; collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, community providers, counselors, therapists, case managers, NPs, and psychiatrists
Required Procedures: Inpatient psychiatric evaluation and management
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Multidisciplinary behavioral health team
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: Shared 1:6 weekend call rotation
Submission Requirements:
- Truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- New York State Medical License or eligibility
- DEA license, required prior to start
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days, required at presentation
