Join a behavioral healthcare organization providing psychiatric and behavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities. This role focuses on psychiatric assessments, medication management, and ongoing behavioral health care.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
Implement and document Medicare-compliant GDR strategies.
Treat conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and dementia-related behaviors.
Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary care teams.
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
Qualifications
Valid DEA registration.
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Comfortable working in long-term care settings.
Ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload.
Working Hours
Flexible daytime schedule
No evenings, weekends, or on-call
