Job description
We’re seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join a collaborative Behavioral Health team in Alpena, Michigan. This full time role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, strong multidisciplinary support, and the opportunity to practice in a scenic waterfront community known for year round recreation, affordable living, and exceptional quality of life.
Highlights:
- Full time employed Psychiatry position
- Blend of 65% outpatient / 35% inpatient responsibilities
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with Psychiatric Mental Health APPs, inpatient APPs, social workers, patient care navigators, and telepsychiatry support
- Opportunities across the continuum of behavioral health services, including outpatient psychiatry, telepsychiatry, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and inpatient psychiatric care
- Inpatient rotation approximately one week every three weeks
- Average inpatient census of 8–10 patients
- Night APP coverage available for first call support
- Ability to customize patient panel based on provider interests and expertise
- Outpatient schedule Monday–Friday
- Highly competitive compensation plan with base salary + RVU based incentives
