Job Title: Part time- Psychiatrist
Location: Lucasville OH 45699
Shift: 07:00am-05:00pm (M-F)
Hours: 16-20 hours per week
Pay Rate: $180/hr.- $200/hr. on w2
Duration: 6 months to long term
Start Date: TBD, upon completion of credentialing
Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing
Managing medication
Making referrals for specialized care or treatment
Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards
Participating in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews
Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed.
Healthcare-level BLS/CPR
DEA certification
American Board Certification

Key Responsibilities:
Searching for a board-eligible or board-certified psychiatrist to provide on-site services on a part-time basis (16-20 hours/week) to the male incarcerated population. Schedule is flexible based on needs of facility, but core hours are typically between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Selected psychiatrist will meet with 12-16 patients per 8-hour shiftIncludes:
Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record systemConducting exams and writing evaluations and reports
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing
Managing medication
Making referrals for specialized care or treatment
