Job Title: Psychiatrist
Location: Leavittsburg OH 44430
Shift: 08:00am-05:00pm (M-F)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $150/hr.- $170/hr. on w2
Duration: 6 months to long term
Start Date: TBD, upon completion of credentialing
Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing
Managing medication
Making referrals for specialized care or treatment
Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards
Participating in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews
Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed.
Healthcare-level BLS/CPR
DEA certification
American Board Certification

Key Responsibilities:
Searching for a board-eligible or board-certified Ohio-licensed psychiatrist to provide on-site services on a full-time basis to the men at this prison. Schedule is weekdays with no nights, weekends, or holidays. Start/end times have some flexibility based on facility need. On-call coverage is not required. Selected psychiatrist will meet with 12-16 patients per 8-hour shift.Includes:
Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record systemConducting exams and writing evaluations and reports
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing
Managing medication
Making referrals for specialized care or treatment
