📋 Position Description
We are seeking a Psychiatry Physician for an urgent locum tenens opportunity in Eugene, Oregon. This is an adult inpatient psychiatry assignment in a hospital setting with approximately 35 beds.
The physician will provide inpatient psychiatric care, including rounding and admissions, while working alongside other providers — you will not be working solo.

Job Responsibilities
🧠 Provide inpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adult patients
🏥 Conduct daily patient rounds
📝 Complete admissions and appropriate clinical documentation
🤝 Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team
📋 Provide consultative psychiatric services as required
💻 Document patient care in Epic
🩺 Deliver safe, high-quality psychiatric care within hospital privileges
Qualifications
🪪 Active Oregon medical license
🧠 Psychiatry specialty
❤️ Current BLS certification
🏥 Recent inpatient or consultative psychiatry experience
📊 Minimum qualifying case experience for requested privileges
📋 Ability to satisfy hospital credentialing and privileging requirements
Working Hours
🕗 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
📅 Coverage follows a Tuesday–Monday alternating weekly schedule.
