Inpatient Psychiatrist – Locum - Grand Forks, ND- ASAP – February 4, 2027, | Ongoing Need - (DM)

• Inpatient Psychiatry opportunity with a 7-on/7-off schedule
• 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Approximately 1–2 nights of call during each 7-day rotation
• 24-bed inpatient psychiatric unit
• Exposure to both adult and adolescent psychiatry
• ER and general hospital consultation responsibilities
• Support from APPs, social work, discharge, and intake teams
• Epic EMR
• Telemedicine may be utilized for certain hospital consultations
• Work alongside another psychiatrist on an alternating 7-on/7-off schedule
• Travel and lodging support available

Clinical Scope

The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care, including:

• Evaluation and treatment of inpatient psychiatric patients
• Adult and adolescent psychiatric care
• Emergency department psychiatric evaluations
• General hospital psychiatric consultations
• Management of a broad range of psychiatric diagnoses
• Collaboration with APPs and multidisciplinary care teams
• Participation in the inpatient call rotation

Requirements

• MD/DO with Psychiatry specialization
• Board Certified
• Strong inpatient psychiatry experience
• Must be comfortable treating all ages and diagnoses, including adolescent patients
• Must be comfortable participating in the 7-on/7-off rotation
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Must be able to start one day prior to the scheduled rotation for full orientation

Schedule

7 days on / 7 days off
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Typically, rotation change occurs on Thursday.
