Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, 8-hour daytime shifts
Duration: 6+ months, with potential for permanent hire
Patient Population: Adult male incarcerated population
Provide treatment and medication management.
Order/interpret diagnostic testing and make referrals.
Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
Collaborate with medical and behavioral health staff.
Follow ODRC policies and ACA standards.
Participate in quality improvement and peer reviews.
Requirements
MD/DO degree with Psychiatry specialization.
Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Active Ohio Medical License.
Current healthcare-professional-level BLS/CPR.
Board certification and DEA registration required.
Correctional healthcare experience preferred.
Submission: Resume/CV, Cover Letter, RTR, Ohio license, BLS/CPR, board certification, DEA, and ODRC credentialing documents.
Screening: TB and drug testing required. Phone interview and on-site meeting/tour required.
Note: No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call coverage. Start/end times may vary based on facility needs.
